POLYTECH Adult Education graduates have the credentials and skills needed to be successful. You’ll see them throughout the community…as trade apprentices working in small and large businesses, as nurses and allied health professionals caring for patients in medical facilities, and as high school graduates and GED® recipients continuing their education in local colleges and universities.  Earn a certificate, state license or national certification. Complete your high school diploma or prepare for the GED® test. Take a fun fitness class or learn to cook. EVENTS

Polytech Adult Education is holding registration for preparing for your GED®   and High School diploma SUMMER classes only.  Classes will begin July 9, held three days per, week and during day hours only .   You must be pre-registered by completing an information packet, paying $40.00 supply fee before being assigned a seat for orientation and testing.

Testing and orientation dates are as follows:

May 29 @ 5:00 pm

June 11 @ 1:00 pm

June 19 @ 1:00 pm

June 25 @ 9:00 am

June 26 @ 9:00am

 

FREE Family Literacy will  also be available for 1 year to 12 years old.

 

Current registration is for classes beginning July 9, 2013 through August 15, 2013.

POLYTECH ADULT EDUCATION AND DOVER DOWNS HOTEL & CASINO ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE A NEW CULINARY ARTS AND HOSPITALITY TRAINING PARTNERSHIP!

 

Students will attend 10 weeks of full-time classroom and hands-on instruction, including an on-site internship at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino®. 

Classes meet Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

ALL GRADUATES WILL RECEIVE AN INTERVIEW AND BE CONSIDERED FOR FULL OR PART TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT DOVER DOWNS HOTEL & CASINO®.

Interested individuals should bring a photo ID. Testing and interviews will be administered on-site, and individuals selected for training will be asked to provide a favorable criminal background check and evidence of a negative drug screen.
