The third year course for HVAC-R mechanics includes classroom instruction on heating and cooling load calculations, sizing and designing duct systems for residential and commercial installations, operation, design, troubleshooting and servicing of gas, oil and electric fired hydronic and steam heating systems. Related code, safety and E.P.A. regulations will be discussed in depth in this course.
Prerequisite: HVAC-R I and II. Textbook and safety glasses are required.
