Newly manufactured R-410A systems require service professionals to use different tools and equipment. This course describes how R-410A systems operate, why R-410A operates at considerably higher pressures, and why each component in a R-410A system must meet the stringent demands of this newer refrigerant. It also explains why R-22 systems cannot be rerofitted to R-410A. This course prepares technicians for a certification exam given on the last night of the course. The test is proctored, closed book and the certification is nationally recognized.
Textbook and test cost are included in course fee.
